Nan Ya PCB is an Enterprise focusing
on developing new products and technologies
as well as cultivating manufacturing process
enhancements, high-value products, and
circular economy. In order to manage the
projects of new products and technologies,
the Company has established Intellectual
Property (IP) Management Regulations and
implement related digital processes. Also,
the rewards for IP proposals and awards are
written in IP Management Regulations to
stimulate R&D staff and lift the
capabilities. Additionally, we set digital
processes to alarm and follow up projects of
annual target of improvement.
In terms of IP management, in order to
strengthen IP application, review, and
progress management, the Company has
established Patent and Trademark Regulation
to keep track on the status of IP cases and
pay the maintenance fees on time. The
Company has obtained 6 patents and
accumulated to 207.
In terms of operation confidentiality
management, related regulation and
implementation are listed as follow:
1. The Company required employees to sign
agreements when they ware recruited, which
indicate every technology and information
that they obtain from work are confidential
whether they are on the job or sign
non-disclosure agreements.
It is not allowed to reveal in any ways
without authorization. Employees have to
return confidential information and cannot
retain in any forms when they leave the
Company.
2. There are specific rules for confidential
management protocols in the Document
Management Regulation. Documents about
patents, operation activities, and
technologies are managed according to the
regulations, which cannot be brought out, lent, exhibited to
others, and have to save properly. Document
retrieval has to be approved and recorded.
Access control and supervised document copy
are also
implemented.
In order to enhance employees' perception of
IP, the Company requires employees to issue
the Statement of Respecting IP and provides
IP regulations training courses.
The Company at least once a year reports the
status of IP management to the board, and
modifies the regulation based on the review.
The latest report to the board was on May 23th,
2023.
