Nan Ya PCB is taking due diligence efforts to
ensure our suppliers having detailed surveys on
origin of raw materials which should not been
sourced from the conflict minerals areas, either
of which is controlled by non-governmental
military groups, or unlawful military faction.
The conflict minerals area, defined by the
OECD’s Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible
Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected
and High Risk Areas, including Democratic
Republic of the Congo and its neighboring
countries,
Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic,
Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan,
Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
At the moment we are taking continuous actions
to ensure that conflict metals do not enter our
supply chain, actions including requiring
written agreement from suppliers and helping
them map out supply chain from smelter to
source. In the long term, we plan to work on
building up internal traceability system in
procurement processes. As a superior supplier,
we take the responsibility to ensure customers’
right, comply with the guideline of Responsible
Business Alliance (RBA) and honor our
commitment of corporate social responsibility.
